Business Energy Quotes is a sister company to Northern Gas and Power, the largest independent business energy consultancy in the UK, giving you the confidence of working with one of the most reputable energy consultancies in the UK.
Business energy contracts usually are either a fixed-term or a variable tariff. On a fixed tariff, you pay a set rate for every unit of energy consumed over a fixed period, usually lasting between one and five years. Long-term contracts cost more but offer more security and time for you to budget appropriately.
On a variable tariff contract, your energy rates can change. Fluctuations on wholesale energy market prices dictate daily costs during the length of your contract. This is usually more expensive than fixed-rate tariffs, but if markets fall steeply, so do your prices!
